Taco House Information

Stepping into Taco House on W Littleton Blvd instantly gives you that cozy, neighborhood taqueria vibe where the smell of sizzling meats and fresh tortillas hits you the moment you walk in. The menu feels approachable yet thoughtfully curated, balancing classic tacos with inventive twists that keep locals coming back. Their carne asada tacos are perfectly seasoned, tender, and packed with flavor, while the chicken al pastor brings a smoky sweetness that pairs wonderfully with their house-made salsa. One of the things that stands out here is the attention to fresh ingredients-crisp vegetables, vibrant garnishes, and tortillas that taste homemade rather than mass-produced, which makes each bite feel genuinely satisfying.

The atmosphere at Taco House is unpretentious and welcoming, with friendly staff who make an effort to remember regulars and offer suggestions if you’re torn between menu items. Reviews often highlight how consistent the service is, noting that even during busy lunch hours, orders are accurate and delivered promptly. Seating is casual, making it a great spot for a quick meal or a relaxed evening with friends, and there’s a sense that the team genuinely cares about creating a comfortable dining experience rather than just filling tables.

What adds to the charm is the location itself. Being on W Littleton Blvd, it’s easy to pop in whether you’re running errands or meeting up with friends, and the neighborhood feel gives it a hometown warmth that chain restaurants often lack. Beyond tacos, the sides and extras-like perfectly fried churros and creamy guacamole-are frequently mentioned in reviews as little highlights that elevate the meal. Drinks are simple but well-chosen, complementing the food without overcomplicating the menu, which helps keep the focus on the quality of the dishes themselves.

Overall, dining at Taco House feels like discovering a gem that locals quietly rave about. Between the flavorful menu, friendly service, and inviting ambiance, it manages to feel both familiar and a little special, making it a solid choice whether you’re in the mood for a classic taco run or a relaxed, flavorful meal in Littleton.

What People's Say About Place

I don't care how 1980 this place is, the food is delicious and affordable. The chips and salsa, is a great salsa, green chili is different from any other its amazing IT is HOT, and enchilada sauce is spectacular.

5 Stars overall because Taco House has been a staple on Littleton Boulevard for probably 50 years. I'm one of those restaurant connoisseurs who likes an occasional high-end, wait on me hand and foot, striking flavor and presentation place, but my budget does not usually afford that more than once a year. So I more often seek good, tasty food in a clean and comfortable venue with fair service for the price that I can continue to go back to regularly without having to take out a second mortgage! Taco House is one of those places for me.

Denver metro institution. I love this place it makes me nostalgic. The food is amazing and the staff fun and upbeat!

My family was a fan of Taco House in Thornton back in the 80's. We were happy to hear about this Taco House. Everything was just as good as we remember.

Wow this place is a hidden gem. Tried the number 4 which is 3 cheese enchiladas and the chips.

I've been dining at Taco House for over 50 years. It's not fancy food, but they have honest workers, decent portions and always the same consistent products. Love the enchiladas with onions!

This Taco house has been around for as long as I have been and im 70. I get the number 2 every time I go. 3 cheese enchiladas and 3 tostadas. It is great. The building could use a total make over. But they have take out.

Love this excellent alternative to Taco Bell, Del Taco, etc. Been traveling the Southwest since Covid times, and have not found anything like it in my travels. Most of these type places in New Mexico and Arizona serve what I call dough burgers. They seem to have a lot of tortilla and little else. And the homespun crew is delightful. Try the "Special Combination" with the extra hot dark red sauce if you like your Tex Mex spicy.
